Ruthy Stafford
Senior Director, Consulting Services
As MCNC’s senior director of consulting services, Ruthy Stafford manages a dedicated team of network and cybersecurity engineers and consultants. Together, they provide MCNC customers with expert guidance on everything from initial network design and integration to long-term maintenance, day-to-day troubleshooting, and robust security.
Over a 15-year tenure at MCNC, Ruthy has held roles across finance and community advocacy groups before transitioning to the cybersecurity team in 2017 to spearhead business development and growth. After serving as director of cybersecurity, she stepped into her current leadership role in 2025 to expand MCNC’s consulting services. She remains deeply committed to delivering high-value, accessible, and elite technical solutions to the MCNC community.
Ruthy received her bachelor’s degree in history from North Carolina State University.
