MCNC connects all 115 districts and some charter schools to its high-speed, reliable broadband network infrastructure, the North Carolina Research and Education Network. In addition to NCREN, schools also have access to Internet2 so students can access national research and education materials. MCNC also provides consulting services, security, E-Rate assistance, and network support so learners, teachers, and administrators have everything they need to excel.
