The Client Network Engineering (CNE) group is available to work with clients to design, implement and support their network and security infrastructure. The CNE group provides network design services, general technical guidance and advice, recommended practices, product assessment and recommendations, and assistance resolving complex Local Education Agency (LEA) network problems.
Requirements of Service:
Client may be required to provide CNE representative(s) with network diagrams and administrative access to selected client network equipment.
Eligibility & Pricing:
Network design and consultation services are available to K-12 LEAs and Charter Schools at no cost to the LEA or Charter School. Private K12 schools, community colleges and universities/colleges can request eligibility and pricing information by submitting a Request for Service.
Terms & Conditions:
Terms and conditions for LEAs and Charter Schools apply as detailed in the Master Services Agreement entered into as of the 12 day of February, 2008 by and between The State of North Carolina, Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) and MCNC, and Statement of Work 2, Client Network Engineering and Support Services entered into as of June 23, 2008. Terms and conditions for all other clients will be negotiated at the time of the engagement.
Availability & Commitments:
Please submit a Request for Service for current service availability. Priority will be given to K12 LEAs and Charter Schools, and community colleges currently connected to the North Carolina Research and Education Network (NCREN).
