We have the ability to allow audio-only participants to be bridged into a video conference. Participation requires access from the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). Any scheduled participant for a video session is eligible to use audio-only as an alternate connection. It is typically used in one of three scenarios:
- The participant is viewing a live stream and desires to interact with the other participants.
- The participant must interact in a video session from a location that is not equipped for video conferencing.
- The participant’s video site has experienced a problem that interrupts the video session, and a phone connection can be established quickly and easily for continuity.
Requirements of Service:
The participant must have access to a wired landline or a cell telephone that is capable of connecting to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). The dial-in information must be determined prior to the session start.
Eligibility & Pricing:
Eligibility and pricing can be obtained by submitting a Request for Service.
Terms & Conditions:
We are not responsible for the inability to hear the session if the source of the interruption is coming from the receiving end. Terms & Conditions can be obtained by submitting a Request for Service.
