Image removed.Representatives from MCNC’s Client Network Engineering (CNE) and Security teams traveled across NC in November and December of 2016 to attend all eight regional meetings of K-12 technology directors hosted by the NC Department of Public Instruction. MCNC provided updates on its new Enhanced DDoS Protection capabilities and discussed how these service enhancements help keep NC schools protected against the growing threat of DDoS attacks.

The team also discussed ideas for future security services that MCNC might develop to help NC school systems address cybersecurity threats. Many session participants provided feedback on these topics that MCNC will use to help guide its future efforts to develop cybersecurity services.
