MCNC’s Training Partnerships

Merit Professional Learning

For a number of years, Merit has conducted a Professional Learning program for its member institutions. This program offers a series of IT courses, workshops, summits, and member gatherings. Recently, Merit launched a partnership agreement with a limited number Research and Education networks to provide some of their courses and PD opportunities to the constituents of these networks.

MCNC is pleased to be a partner in this program to enable the NCREN community to take advantage of these opportunities.

Here’s how you can take advantage of this program:

  • Merit will present a series of fee-based, classroom and online professional development content. NCREN community members will be allow to register for some of these events, which will be promoted by MCNC to the NCREN community.
  • In these cases, Merit will enable a registration option on their website that provides a discounted rate for the NCREN community.
  • Merit will coordinate and carry out all tasks related to registrations by registrants from institutions connected to NCREN, including billing, communication, and customer service.
